Position Overview: As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team, you will coordinate patient care, effectively communicating clinical conditions and swiftly responding to changes in patient status. Your knowledge of growth and development principles will enable you to provide age-appropriate care to our diverse patient population. Your role promotes the nursing profession through supportive interactions with colleagues. You will report to the Clinical Nurse Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct and indirect patient-centered care. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families. • Communicate effectively to report patient conditions and respond to changes. • Deliver age-appropriate care based on growth and development principles. • Promote nursing and professional practice through collaboration. Qualifications: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: • Graduation from an accredited nursing school with current licensure in Connecticut. • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire or within the introductory orientation period.
