Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide exceptional care to residents. Your key responsibilities will include assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, evaluation of treatments, and quality assurance/performance improvement activities. This pivotal role also involves supervising a dedicated team and fostering relationships with residents, their families, and other members of the healthcare team. Please note: This position is for the Night Shift (11pm - 7:30am). Qualifications: • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. • Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state is mandatory. • Working knowledge of long-term care practices. • Current CPR certification is required, approved by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. • First Aid certification is required or willingness to obtain it. • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred. • Experience or continuing education in elderly care is advantageous. • Applicants must maintain a courteous and professional demeanor in all interactions. • Utilize a resident and customer-focused approach for problem-solving and goal-setting. • Basic computer skills are necessary; a willingness to learn is essential.
