Now, you have the opportunity to join usNurse Administrator – Psychiatry-Medicine – 11N - NightsThe Nurse Administrator is responsible and accountable for the clinical operations of the Nursing Department on an assigned shift to ensure continuity of patient care. You will collaborate with Patient Care Director and others in planning and implementing high quality, safe patient care. You will act as a consultant to staff, and is a member of the Nursing Leadership Team. Collaborate with Nurse Practice Development for identified ongoing learning needs of staff In addition to managing scheduling, staffing and supplies, you will participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of short- and long-range goals. You will also be accountable for monitoring staff compliance with regulatory and hospital requirements.This position will works night shift 10:00p-8:00a (10hr shifts - 4 days/wk) alternating weekends at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.Preferred CriteriaPsychiatric Mental Health Nursing CertificationACLSRequired Criteria3 years of recent progressive leadership experienceBSNMasters in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree. If currently pursuing a Masters must obtain within 1 year of hire.
