The Telemetry Medical Surgical department strives to provide competent and safe care to patients admitted for acute nursing interventions of 24 hours or more. Our highly trained and professional staff treats people recovering from serious illness requiring telemetry monitoring, oncology treatment, orthopedic and major surgeries. Medication and treatments are provided in a warm and caring environment that facilitates swift recovery. If you enjoy working with people and providing warm, compassionate patient care, you could be our next Nurse Aide and assist with a wide variety of nursing care duties and procedures in our Telemetry Medical Surgical department. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and caring, with excellent patient care and communication skills, the ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i. Location: Straub Benioff Medical Center Work Schedule: Day/Night - 12 Hours Work Type: Full Time Regular FTE: 0.900000 Bargaining Unit: ILWU Exempt: No Req ID 32022 Pay Range: 23.53 - 24.77 USD per hour Category: Medical Support Staff Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification OR completion of nursing fundamentals OR RN certificate from a foreign country OR military corpsman certificate OR successful completion of an EMT or MICT training program OR a successful completion of HPH Nurse Aide Program. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life (BLS) CPR card. Preferred Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i CNA certificate. One (1) year clinical experience.
