What You Will Be Doing
The Nurse Consultant 1 provides medical and mental health consultation to the Office of Children's Services staff, as well as administrative guidance, technical assistance and recommendations to OCS staff regarding psychotropic medications. They assist in identifying and monitoring appropriate residential placements for youth in custody while meeting the least restrictive placement options for them.

Working Environment You Can Expect
This position may be located in Midtown Anchorage or in Wasilla, AK. Both locations have nearby restaurants and shops.
This position works 37.5 hours per week. This position works closely with front line Protective Services Specialist and medical providers who are providing care for children in custody.

Minimum Qualifications
Eligibility for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska.
