The Nurse Manager will provide supervision and coaching to members of the health care team.What you will do:Provides operations leadership to professional & / or frontline staff, supervisors & / or managers Retains accountability for staff coordination, training, hiring, performance, regulatory compliance & results of assigned departmentDevelops departmental plans, including organizational priorities; Collaborates with larger teams of health professionals to plan for long-term patient care needs.Responsible for driving outcomes through the daily management of resourcesPrimarily patient facing - Manages indirect or patient care department / program Priorities are guided by the operational & clinical needs of patient care areas; Develops plans in concert with Nursing Operations Managers in support of the department functional objectives & clinical drivers where support is assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree is requiredRegistered Nurse RN Licensure: Must hold a valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure.Valid driver’s license where required by assignmentPreferred Qualifications:Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing. Leadership experience and other related experience licensure / certifications aligned with area of responsibility & assignment
