
Nurse Manager, RN in Duluth, MN
Job Description
The Nurse Manager oversees a nursing unit, ensuring quality resident care through effective resource management and care planning.
Responsibilities include:
• Developing and updating individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Providing and supervising nursing care per regulations, including medication administration and procedures.
• Supervising RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; delegating tasks and evaluating staff performance.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating care needs effectively.
• Ensuring medication safety and regulatory compliance.
• Promoting a positive work environment, participating in QA, continuing education, and maintaining licensure.
Qualifications required:
• Current RN registration in Minnesota.
• BSN degree and CPR/emergency care certification.
• Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing facilities.
