Job Summary: The Nurse Manager for Specialty Services Line is a vital leadership role responsible for the overall clinical and operational management of designated and other specialized clinics. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate patient care within the service line, aligning with organizational goals, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices. The Nurse Manager will foster a collaborative environment, lead a team of nursing professionals, and contribute to the strategic development and growth of the specialty services.
Supervises: Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, Radiation Therapists, and other clinical support staff within the assigned service line.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
2. Current RN licensure in the State of Rhode Island
3. A minimum of five years' clinical nursing experience and three years' leadership experience
5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required
6. Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification must be obtained within 2 months of hire
7. Specialty Areas: Must meet Knowledge/Skill Inventory List
8. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Success Factors
1. Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
2. Evidence of continuing education
3. Ability to communicate effectively using interpersonal and managerial skills
4. Ability to organize, prioritize and implement workload of the patient care team
5. Ability to facilitate and encourage team spirit by acting as a coach and role model
Pay Range: $101,984-$127,485
