Job Details Nurse Practitioner (Women’s Health)Department: CHPP Women’s Health – Ryan OBGYN Location: Mercy Hospital, Ryan Center FTE: 1.0 Position SummaryThe Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide advanced clinical care in support of the CHPP Ryan OBGYN practice at Mercy Hospital. This role is essential to expanding the practice from part-time to full-time operations, improving patient access, enhancing throughput efficiency, and supporting growth in market share. The NP will work collaboratively with employed OBGYN physicians and provide additional clinical support to the MIGS program.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive women’s health care services, including gynecologic evaluations, prenatal and postpartum care, preventive health screenings, and patient educationManage patient panels independently within scope of practice, with physician collaboration as neededSupport increased patient demand from existing and transitioning community providersAssist in improving patient access, clinic flow, and operational efficiencyCollaborate with OBGYN physicians (including hospitalists and MIGS provider) to ensure continuity of careProvide clinical support to the MIGS practice across Mercy Hospital and Southside Hospital, as neededDocument care accurately and timely in the electronic medical recordParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standardsQualificationsCurrent New York State Nurse Practitioner license (Women’s Health or Family NP with women’s health experience preferred)Board-certified Nurse PractitionerPrior experience in obstetrics and gynecology strongly preferredStrong clinical, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a growing, dynamic practice environmentBilingual skills preferred
