About The Opportunity Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a motivated and driven Nurse Practitioner to join our Pediatric Urology team on the island of O‘ahu What You’ll Do • Perform patient assessments and physical examinations • Coordinate and implement care plans • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests • Provide medical recommendations and referrals • Develop and evaluate treatment plans • Maintain accurate patient records • Educate patients on health, medication, and nutrition • Collaborate with patients, families, and care teams • Performs urological procedures such as urethral catheterization, bladder sonography, and urodynamic studies (including equipment setup and maintenance) • Assists urologists with office-based procedures, including circumcision and other minor surgical interventions What You’ll Enjoy • Integration of group practice with cultural diversity, superb lifestyle, excellent climate • Gain invaluable experience and insight being a part of the professional physician team Qualifications • Current APRN license in good standing • Board certification in Family Practice or Pediatrics (ANCC or AANP) • Graduate degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program (Master’s or Doctorate) • State licensure with prescriptive authority • Active BLS/ACLS certification • Experience in pediatric or family care settings preferred • Why the Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group? About Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care.
