Headquartered in Augusta, GA, Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America provides services from the nation's largest individual burn center: the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital of Augusta.
Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dedicated professionals in the critical care, trauma and burn arenas. Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America is the nation's largest burn network with locations throughout the United States. Candidates much be willing to travel, as needed, and participate in staff education.
ResponsibilitiesFocus is on the reconstructive care of patients.Patient management of in the inpatient hospital, outpatient clinicTeam approach and collaborative environment.Perform patient history and physicalsOrder and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays and provide diagnosisPerform medical treatment and diagnostic proceduresPerform minor surgical procedures1st or 2nd assist during surgery, as required by supervising physician and/or trainingInstruct and counsel patients on treatment plansPreoperative and postoperative careMedication prescribing may also be necessary depending on state/facility Requirements* New graduates welcome*Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant ProgramSuccessful completion of PANCEMaintain NCCPA CertificationLicensure in state practicingWe offer Medical/Dental/Vision/Life/401(k)/Vacation and Holidays.
