Company Description Sumpter Medical Center Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role located in Belleville, MI. The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary and specialty care services to patients, including conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and prescribing medications. The role also involves collaborating with physicians, managing patient care plans, and educating patients and their families about health management and preventative care. Additionally, maintaining accurate patient records and contributing to a positive clinical environment is expected. Qualifications • Comprehensive knowledge of patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and health promotion. • Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and delivering primary care services. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and patient interaction. • Organizational skills for maintaining accurate patient records, clinical documentation, and care management. • State licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP); CPR certification required. • Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory.
