Delta Community Supports, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse with excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills who can effectively work with others. Reporting to the Regional State Director, this individual will perform a variety of nursing responsibilities supporting our consumers. Their skills should include a wide range of intellectual and practical problem-solving abilities and a strong working knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
- Supervise and support a small team of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Provide medical oversight and support for individuals in community-based settings
- Act as a liaison with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Review and manage Medication Administration Records (MARs), medication orders, and supplies
- Conduct staff training on medical conditions, procedures, and equipment
- Develop medical and feeding protocols in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Monitor for emerging health concerns and ensure timely follow-up
- Coordinate psychiatric care and support care plan implementation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Be a medical resource for staff and ensure best practices in care
- Responsible for assisting state licensing and compliances
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
- Current New Jersey RN license
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- A passion for helping others and a commitment to person-centered care.
