Position Summary TheRegistered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in supporting the physical and behavioral health needs of clients served by Brighter Dayz, Inc. The RN provides direct nursing care, health assessments, medication administration, and clinical support within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detailoriented, and experienced in behavioral health or communitybased care. Key Responsibilities Clinical Nursing Care • Conduct health assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and ongoing monitoring of client health status. • Administer medications, monitor side effects, and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans. • Provide wound care, first aid, and basic medical interventions as needed. • Support clients with chronic health conditions through education, monitoring, and coordination of care. Behavioral Health Support • Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and behavior specialists to support integrated treatment plans. • Monitor clients for behavioral or psychiatric changes and report concerns promptly. • Participate in crisis intervention, deescalation, and safety planning when necessary. • Educate clients and families on health, wellness, and medication management. Documentation & Compliance • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant nursing documentation in accordance with agency, state, and federal standards. • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, infection control protocols, and nursing ethical guidelines. • Assist with audits, quality assurance initiatives, and policy implementation. Team Collaboration • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and treatment planning sessions. • Communicate effectively with clinical staff, administrative personnel, and external providers. • Support a positive, clientcentered, and traumainformed care environment. Qualifications Required • Active RN license in the state of practice. • Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN). • Experience in behavioral health, community health, or related clinical settings. • Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Preferred • Experience working with individuals with behavioral or psychiatric needs. • Training in traumainformed care, crisis intervention, or deescalation. • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
