RN Director – Med Surg / Tele
Type: Full-Time | On-site | 24/7 Departmental Oversight
Location: Fort Mill, SC & Bartlett, TN
Key Responsibilities
• Provide operational and clinical leadership for Med Surg and Telemetry units, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Develop and implement policies and best practices for efficient workflow and patient-centered care.
• Support CNO in strategic planning, staffing, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission, and CMS regulations.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional development among nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and executive leadership to achieve clinical and operational goals.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes, HCAHPS scores, and nurse retention.
• Oversee recruitment, training, competency evaluation, and performance management for nursing staff.
• Promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Experience
• Minimum 2 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in a hospital environment (Manager or Director level).
• Proven success managing Med Surg or Telemetry units in acute care settings.
• Strong understanding of hospital operations, staffing models, and budget management.
• Track record of improving quality, patient safety, and staff engagement.
