Nursing Internship - Nurse Extern I in Pollock, LA
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Nurse Extern I, where you will work under the supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse. In this role, you will engage in a variety of direct patient care activities, ensuring the highest quality of care in accordance with Nursing Department policies and procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity for nursing students to gain hands-on experience while assisting in the care of hospitalized patients.
Requirements:
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited RN program for either an associate or bachelor's degree.
• Completion of first clinical and must be in good standing within the nursing program.
• Basic nursing skills proficiency is essential.
• Previous hospital experience (6 months) is preferred but not mandatory.
• AHA BLS certification is required within two weeks of employment.
