Nursing RN Endoscopy | Richmond, Texas in Richmond, TX

A Registered Nurse with expertise in Endoscopy and GI Lab procedures is needed for a contract position in Richmond, TX. This role supports a busy Diabetes and Endocrine Clinic serving 90-140 patients daily with a dynamic team of providers, faculty, and fellows. Schedule/Hours: • Monday through Friday • Options include 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (four-day rotation within the week) Responsibilities: • Provide nursing care and assist in Endoscopy and GI Lab procedures • Support clinical operations by working closely with medical assistants and providers • Educate patients on insulin administration and management of hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia • Assist with triage calls, prior authorizations, lab result communications, and documentation such as school forms and letters • Collaborate with faculty and fellows to maintain smooth clinic workflow • Utilize ambulatory care skills and familiarity with EPIC electronic health records to optimize patient care Qualifications: • Current RN license with Endoscopy and GI Lab experience • Ability to manage multiple patient care tasks efficiently in a high-volume setting • Strong communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration • Previous ambulatory care and EPIC system experience preferred Location: Richmond, TX offers a thriving community with access to urban amenities and a welcoming environment.
