Job Summary The Nursing Supervisor will oversee daily operations for nursing staff and activities within a structured care setting, adhering to Sanford's policies and procedures. You will be responsible for: • Providing supervision to nursing staff and ensuring quality patient care for individuals of all ages. • Enhancing clinical patient care processes to improve outcomes. • Establishing strong relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public. • Supporting human resources processes associated with staff management. • Managing inventory levels and supplies for the department and addressing problems effectively. • Training and orienting new staff while complying with established standards. • Utilizing the nursing process for individualized patient care across various interventions. • Collaborating with inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. • Staying current with certifications and maintaining necessary department competencies. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in nursing required. • Three years of experience as a registered nurse (RN) preferred. • Active RN license in the relevant state, with compliance for multistate licensure if applicable. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
