Nursing Supervisor (RN) - Home Health - Part Time in Fairfax, VA

Supervising Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health - Office-Based | Fairfax, VA Pay Range: $40 - $45 per hour Position Overview: East Coast Valley Home Health is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Supervising Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. This is an office-based leadership role responsible for overseeing patient care coordination, reviewing clinical documentation, and supporting field clinicians to ensure quality, compliance, and excellence in care delivery. This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys leadership, organization, and ensuring clinical accuracy—while remaining actively involved in patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Review and approve OASIS documentation, plans of care, and visit notes • Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in developing and certifying Plan of Care (CMS-485) forms • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid (DMAS), and other payer guidelines • Oversee patient care coordination and case management • Communicate with physicians regarding orders, changes in condition, and care updates • Supervise and support field RNs, LPNs, PTs, OTs, and HHAs • Monitor timeliness and accuracy of documentation • Participate in case conferences and quality assurance meetings • Assist with survey preparation and regulatory compliance • Support onboarding and training of new clinicians Qualifications: • Active, unrestricted Virginia RN license • Minimum 2 years of home health experience (preferred) • Strong knowledge of OASIS • Experience with EMR systems • Strong organizational and communication skills • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred What We Offer: • Competitive salary • Supportive leadership team • Growth opportunity within a developing agency • Office-based schedule • Meaningful impact on patient care quality Schedule: Part -time | Monday–Friday | Office-based East Coast Valley Home Health provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
