Job Description

The Obstetrics-Gynecology Nurse Practitioner (OB-GYN NP) performs physical exams, diagnoses and treats conditions, offers family planning, and educates patients on health maintenance. Responsibilities include and are not limited to: Providing gynecological services including well woman care, annual Pap smears and pelvic exams, health education, STD screening and follow up contraceptive counseling and prenatal care and postpartum care. Diagnosing and treating conditions like infections, menstrual problems, and menopause-related issues. Prescribing medications, patient counseling and support. Collaborating with healthcare teams. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient encounters. Formulating a working diagnosis, develop and implement treatment plans. Evaluating patients who have returned from off-site treatment. Conducting rounds. Scheduling and performing laboratory and diagnostic procedures Qualifications Experience / Requirements / Qualifications. Must hold a current unres.
