Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse Practitioner Job with Trinity Health in NY in Guttenberg, NJ

St. Peters Health Partners is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding MFM team in Albany, New York. This position is based in our newly renovated office space at 400 Patroon Creek Blvd, Albany, with inpatient consultations performed at St. Peters Hospital. As part of the SPHP MFM team, you will work alongside a collaborative group of specialists to deliver high-quality care for women with high-risk pregnancies.

Position Highlights
• Beautiful new outpatient office; Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and interpretation of diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with MFM physicians to develop individualized care plans for high-risk pregnancies
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding pregnancy complications, fetal development, and treatment options
• Perform and interpret obstetric tests as credentialed
• Manage chronic conditions during pregnancy (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) in collaboration with the care team
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and referrals to specialists
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EHR
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff and contribute to education and training
• Potential to participate in shared call responsibilities; flexibility based on department needs

Qualifications
• Active RN and Nurse Practitioner license in New York
• Board Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine, or womens health preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
