
Occupational Health Registered Nurse in Atlanta, GA
Job Description
We are excited to invite you to apply for the Occupational Health Registered Nurse position at Rooms To Go. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Thoroughly document all employee injuries and illnesses in the workplace while effectively managing workers' compensation claims alongside adjusters, clinics, and case managers.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, including attorneys, medical providers, clinic staff, insurance adjusters, brokers, and human resources.
• Serve as a nursing expert, performing assessments and ensuring compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain your Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) and Urine Drug Screen (UDS) Collector Certifications, conducting testing while adhering to our drug and alcohol policies.
• Administer flu shots and vaccines as required or deemed medically necessary.
• Provide assistance with first responder training as necessary.
• Uphold the confidentiality of all personal health information while effectively using the employee health recordkeeping system.
• Maintain OSHA-required logs and documentation diligently.
Qualifications:
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school; bilingual candidates are a plus.
Licensure and Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, along with Basic Life Support Certification, First Aid, and AED certifications. State and company-mandated continuing education credits are required. Training for Breath Alcohol Technician and Drug Screen Collector will be provided.
