Location Detail: 1244 Storrs Road Mansfield (10100) Shift Detail: Monday - Friday. This position will be based in Storrs for the first year and will transition to Plainfield thereafter. Job Description: As an Oncology Registered Nurse at Hartford HealthCare, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients under the direction of healthcare providers in diverse clinical settings. Your role will encompass the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, adhering to established nursing protocols and standards. Your key responsibilities will include: • Delivering office-based nursing care in partnership with healthcare providers. • Assessing the physical and emotional needs of patients, creating nursing care plans that ensure continuity of care. • Exhibiting independent nursing actions based on thorough assessments. • Triaging patient calls and initiating timely, appropriate nursing interventions. • Providing compassionate support to patients and their families while maintaining confidentiality. • Willingness to travel to other regional offices as needed. Qualifications: • Current RN license in Connecticut and valid CPR certification. • Preferred three years of nursing experience in a medical practice environment. • Familiarity with medical software is a plus.
