Oncology Registered Nurse - Full-Time in Agua Fria, NM

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate oncology Registered Nurse (RN) who will play a vital role in coordinating and implementing patient care for our oncology population. This position is essential for ensuring that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, aligned with our organization's mission and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Certification/Licenses: Current RN license in New Mexico or Compact state. BLS certification required or to be obtained within 2 weeks of hire.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of age-appropriate care; sensitivity to patient rights; effective communication skills.
• Experience: Previous experience in an oncology setting is preferred.

Nature of Supervision: This role is supervised by the Patient Care Director or Manager.

Working Environment: You will work in areas with potential exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays in a clean, well-lit, ventilated, smoke-free environment. Flexibility in working hours is required to accommodate unexpected schedule changes and emergencies.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to manage emergencies, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform heavy lifting associated with patient care. Strong manual dexterity, visual acuity, and the ability to distinguish colors are also necessary.
