Oncology Registered Nurse - Orange, California in Orange, CA

A specialized role is available for an experienced RN with a strong background in Oncology nursing, focused on outpatient case management for pediatric patients. This position emphasizes coordinating comprehensive care plans within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for oncology patients. Responsibilities: • Develop and customize individualized care roadmaps for oncology patients. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess patient needs and implement treatment plans. • Manage and evaluate patient care processes including coordination of follow-ups, labs, scans, and referrals. • Handle ordering and coordination of durable medical equipment (DME). • Facilitate care transitions and perform comprehensive needs assessments. • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations. Qualifications & Desired Experience: • Current active RN license. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Oncology nursing. • Proven experience in case management within an oncology setting. • Pediatric oncology experience preferred. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. • Strong skills in patient care coordination and interdisciplinary communication. Schedule: • Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM). • Option for 3x8 or 4x8 shifts considered. • No call or weekend shifts required.
