A Brief Overview
As an Oncology Registered Nurse, you'll provide exceptional nursing care through developing diagnosis, establishing care objectives, and offering comprehensive support to our patients and their families. Your role will involve assessing changing patient needs and adjusting care plans accordingly.
What you will do
• Deliver outstanding patient care through reviewing prescriptions and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated support to patients and their families.
• Craft personalized nursing care plans by gathering medical histories, documenting patient conditions, and engaging with families to meet care objectives.
• Educate patients and their families about health requirements, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote understanding and empowerment.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care by adhering to the highest standards, regularly reviewing patient records, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment by following protocol and regulations related to infection control, medication administration, and patient safety.
• Diligently document all patient care services to maintain accurate and effective records.
• Maintain equipment functionality by adhering to operating instructions and ensuring necessary supplies are in stock.
• Stay updated on nursing competencies as defined by leadership.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice upon hire.
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical environment.
