Oncology Registered Nurse - Special Procedures in Wheat Ridge, CO

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Outpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora Department: UCH Oncology Care Clinic Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Summary: Join our team as an Oncology Registered Nurse specializing in special procedures, where you will play a critical role in providing high-quality direct patient care. In this position, you will support regularly scheduled procedural services while ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety through diligent monitoring and nursing practices. Responsibilities: Perform thorough pre/post-procedural monitoring and documentation, effectively communicating the patient's condition and interventions in accordance with established standards. Provide expert nursing care to a complex patient population in a dynamic clinic environment. Respond to critical situations with quick, decisive action, utilizing established nursing protocols. Assess the educational needs of patients and families, delivering tailored education based on individual circumstances. This role requires strong critical thinking and decisiveness, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working independently. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Experience in Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy. Minimum of 6 months of RN experience; 6 months of relevant special procedures experience preferred.
