As an Operating Room Nurse, you will practice at the top of your license, utilizing cutting-edge research and evidence-based practices at our prestigious Level I Trauma Center, which is renowned for its teaching and medical advancements. Position Overview: In the dynamic role of Operating Room Nurse, you will serve as both Circulator and Scrub Nurse, delivering individualized and professional patient care. Your responsibilities will include following hospital policies, engaging in patient education, and supporting diverse age groups and cultures. You will also play a key role in our ongoing quality improvement initiatives. The Core Operating Room caters to a varied patient population with services spanning multiple specialties such as general surgery, ENT, and trauma. We guarantee 24/7 operating room coverage and offer flexible scheduling, as well as opportunities for continuous professional development and innovation. Qualifications: • Current active CT RN License. • Previous operating room experience is essential (Novice nurses may consider applying to the OR Nurse Transition to Practice Program). • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required at time of hire. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are a must. • Ability to solve problems independently. • CNOR certification is a plus.
