Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a proactive Operating Room RN to enhance our Peri-operative team. In this critical role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, to provide high-quality surgical care. You will ensure optimal preventative and supportive care for patients during their surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Recognize and effectively respond to urgent surgical situations.
• Maintain continuity and quality of patient care.
• Monitor patients' medical status and assess vital signs during surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room with necessary supplies, equipment, and sterilization.
• Review and ensure completeness of patient charts.
• Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and physicians to ensure optimal care.

Requirements:
• Valid Florida RN license (or approved multistate RN license) required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• At least 1 year of previous perioperative experience preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care setting is preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire are required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
