Description Join our dedicated team at UCHealth Pikes Peak Reg Hospital located in Woodland Park, CO, as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. We are seeking passionate individuals to provide exceptional patient care in a surgical environment. Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $38.91 - $60.31 per hour based on relevant experience. Summary: As an Operating Room RN, you will deliver direct patient care in an operating room setting, ensuring the highest standards of safety, monitoring patient condition, and optimizing surgical outcomes. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a secure and efficient environment before, during, and after procedures. Responsibilities: • Prepare the operating environment before surgeries, ensuring all safety protocols, checklists, and procedures are followed and documented. • Monitor patient conditions during procedures and communicate updates to the surgical team while maintaining the sterility of the environment. • Perform scrub functions, handling instruments and supplies used during surgeries, and conduct surgical counts with the circulating nurse. • Deliver nursing care to a high-acuity surgical patient population, adeptly navigating the complexities of the operating room. Requirements: • Completion of an accredited nursing program with a preference for a BSN. • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through an accredited program, valid upon hiring. • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. • Experience: At least 6 months of OR nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program preferred.
