Operating Room Registered Nurse - On Call Position in Charleston, SC

As a member of our surgical team, your role will include:
• Assisting in emergency, elective, and scheduled surgical procedures.
• Collaborating effectively with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Communicating with patients' families to provide updates and support.
• Organizing necessary supplies and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Assessing patients before, during, and after surgeries.
• Administering medications per physician orders and ensuring patient safety.
• Engaging patients or designated support persons in their care decisions.

Qualifications:
• A graduate from an accredited nursing school; an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of Perioperative Nursing experience is essential.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
