Description Location: UCHealth Pikes Peak Reg Hospital, Woodland Park, CO. Department: PPRH Operating Room Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $38.91 - $60.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Summary: We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to deliver exceptional patient care in our surgical department. As an Operating Room RN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and effective operating environment while maximizing patient outcomes and resource utilization. Responsibilities: • Prepare the surgical environment, orient and assess patients, and review medical records to ensure all preoperative requirements are met. • Monitor and communicate patient conditions during surgery, documenting interventions and ensuring the sterile field is maintained. • Handle instruments and surgical supplies, performing essential counts with the circulating nurse • Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing complex surgical procedures. Requirements: • Graduate from an accredited or state-approved nursing program. Preferred: BSN. • Possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification valid for at least 60 days from your hire date. • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. • Preferred: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR). • Minimum of 6 months of OR nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
