This contract opportunity is based in Elgin, IL, offering a 40-hour workweek Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with an on-call weekend rotation. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room environment. • Utilize expertise in ophthalmology and DaVinci robotic surgery to support surgical teams. • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and licensing requirements. Qualifications & Desired Experience: • Valid Illinois RN license. • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience, including at least one travel contract. • Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records. • Experience with ophthalmology procedures and DaVinci robotic-assisted surgery. • Current BLS certification. • Ability to respond to on-call duties within 30 minutes of the hospital. Schedule & Hours: • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM. • On-call weekend rotation as required.
