Schedule/Hours • Day and evening shifts • 12-hour shifts: 06:40 AM 07:10 PM • Monday through Friday • Weekday and weekend call responsibilities, with possible holiday call Qualifications and Experience • Licensed RN with Wisconsin nursing license or a compact license from a permanent address state within 50 miles of the facility • Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years • Current American Heart Association certification in BLS and ACLS • Expertise in surgeries such as vitrectomy, open globe repair, abdominoplasty, DIEP flap breast reconstruction, radical neck dissection, tracheostomy, cochlear implants, and more • Proficiency with specialized equipment including Constellation, Straight Shot, neuprobes, and advanced surgical microscopes Responsibilities • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and prioritize patient care in the operating room • Efficiently coordinate surgical case progression and room turnover • Deliver safe, competent, and patient-focused perioperative care aligned with institutional policies and standards • Flexibility to float between units based on staffing needs during the contract term This contract role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your surgical nursing skills while contributing to exceptional patient outcomes at a top-tier healthcare institution.
