Job Description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse skilled in Operating Room procedures to work on a contract basis in Adams, MA. This role involves supporting surgical teams in providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities
• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, assisting surgeons and anesthesia providers during procedures.
• Prepare the operating room before surgery, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterile and ready.
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond promptly to changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain a safe, efficient surgical environment.
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
Qualifications/Desired Experience
• Valid RN license with Operating Room experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as per hospital schedule (note: block scheduling or schedule accommodations are not preferred).
• Current Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License required to comply with state regulations.
Schedule/Hours
• Full-time, 12-hour shifts.
• Includes 8 hours of non-billable orientation.
Additional Details
• Facility provides scrubs for staff.
• Holiday and overtime shifts eligible for additional pay multipliers.
• Preceptor pay available for experienced RNs mentoring others.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the hospital will not be considered to comply with facility requirements.
