Job Description
A skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with operating room experience is sought for a contract position in Carbondale, CO, offering an opportunity to deliver exceptional surgical nursing care in a dynamic hospital setting. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate quality nursing care in the operating room aligned with ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary clinical teams, maintaining high professional nursing standards.
• Support and promote shared governance and nursing practice philosophies unique to the clinical setting.
• Adapt to EMR system transition from Meditech to Epic during the assignment to enhance patient record accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program with a current Colorado RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, including PACU/CCU background.
• Proficient in Epic EMR system or willing to adapt during transition.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association, with cards in-hand before start.
• Must participate in evening/weekend call rotations.
• Flu vaccination required; no exemptions allowed.
• Must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility according to radius policy.
Additional Requirements for Application:
• Submit a current resume and skills sheet.
• Provide copies of BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications and proof of flu vaccination.
• Include a copy of your valid Colorado RN license.
