OR Nurse (RN) | Colchester, Vermont in Burlington, VT

Schedule/Hours:
• Option to work 4 ten-hour shifts (7:00am-5:30pm or 8:00am-6:30pm)
• Or 5 eight-hour shifts (7:00am-3:30pm, 9:00am-5:30pm, or 10:00am-6:30pm)
• On-call rotation: one weeknight call per week
• Weekend call every fifth weekend

Responsibilities:
• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure a safe operating room environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist in their recovery process

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
• Valid RN license with operating room nursing experience
• Strong understanding of surgical instruments, procedures, and patient care standards
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
