Experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse opportunity available in Crawfordsville, IN. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment in a surgical department equipped with a variety of advanced OR technologies. The role requires participation in weekday and weekend on-call shifts, providing comprehensive care across multiple surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, neuro, robotics, and vascular procedures. Schedule/Hours: • 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM • Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (with varying days off) • Weekend on-call shifts required Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current Registered Nurse license required • Minimum of 3 years of OR nursing experience • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications • Preferred: Robotics training and vascular or open heart surgery experience • Strong ability to anticipate needs, adapt quickly, and maintain a positive, self-starting attitude Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality nursing care throughout a variety of surgical procedures • Operate and assist with advanced OR equipment • Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and care standards • Participate actively in call rotations covering weekdays and weekends • Adhere to strict surgical dress code with provided scrubs Location Insight: Based in Crawfordsville, Indiana, this role offers proximity to a vibrant community noted for its charming downtown, cultural attractions, and outdoor recreation opportunities.
