OR Nurse (RN) - Ellinwood, Kansas in Ellinwood, KS

This position emphasizes expertise in orthopedic, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery procedures, providing critical perioperative patient care as an OR circulator. Key Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year of OR circulator experience with orthopedic, OB/Gyn, and general surgery cases • Preferred 2+ years of OR experience; travel nursing background a plus • Current Kansas RN license • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA • EPIC electronic medical records experience highly preferred • Ability to float to procedural areas such as pain management and interventional radiology • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and holiday shifts Responsibilities: • Coordinate and deliver safe and effective nursing care in the operating room environment • Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare and manage patient care throughout surgical procedures • Maintain compliance with facility protocols and standards for patient safety • Support procedural units as needed, demonstrating adaptability in a diverse clinical setting • Participate in on-call scheduling approximately 8 shifts per month, including weekends and holidays Schedule: • Day shifts consisting of four 10-hour days, with variable start times • On-call from 5 PM Friday to 7 AM Monday on a rotating basis Ellinwood, Kansas, offers a welcoming community atmosphere with access to regional medical centers and numerous outdoor recreational opportunities.
