Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity awaits experienced Registered Nurses specialized in Operating Room care. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment based in Georgetown, TX, with a work schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Candidates will appreciate the stability of no weekend shifts, complemented by general call duties just 3-5 times per month, including 1-2 weekend call days during the contract period.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing exceptional perioperative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Preparing the operating room and equipment for surgeries.
• Monitoring patient status before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborating closely with surgical teams to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
• Responding promptly and effectively during general call shifts.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• Current and valid RN license.
• Experience in Operating Room nursing.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
