OR Nurse (RN) - Hoisington, Kansas in Hoisington, KS

An opportunity is available for a registered nurse experienced in the operating room setting, focusing on orthopedics, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery procedures. This contract position supports surgical teams with circulator responsibilities and offers a work schedule of four 10-hour day shifts with variable start times. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current Kansas RN license • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications • Minimum of 1 year operating room circulator experience in orthopedics, OB/Gyn, and general surgery • Preferred: 2+ years OR experience and EPIC electronic health record proficiency • Ability to float to procedural areas such as pain management and interventional radiology • Comfortable with on-call requirements, including 8 shifts per month and holiday rotations • Previous travel nursing experience is a plus • New graduates will not be considered Responsibilities: • Provide circulating nurse support during surgical procedures • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and operate within sterile environments • Support perioperative patient care and documentation standards • Participate in virtual orientation prior to assignment start Location: This role is based near Hoisington, Kansas, serving a hospital campus situated in the wider Great Bend area.
