OR Nurse (RN) | Kennebunk, Maine in Arundel, ME

An established healthcare facility in Kennebunk, ME, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to support their Operating Room team on a contract basis for 13 weeks. Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room. • Assist with surgical procedures by circulating and scrubbing as needed. • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR personnel to ensure patient safety. • Maintain sterile fields and adhere strictly to infection control protocols. • Respond promptly and competently during call shifts. Qualifications / Desired Experience: • Current RN license with at least 5 years of experience in the Operating Room. • Strong orthopedic surgery experience is mandatory. • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required. • Proven skills in both circulating and scrub nurse roles. Schedule / Hours: • 36 hours per week. • Monday to Thursday. • Four 9-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM. • Includes on-call responsibilities.
