Key Responsibilities: • Assess patients mental, physical, and spiritual needs pre- and post-operation. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. • Deliver clear and detailed explanations to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and care instructions. • Use clinical judgment to recognize changes in patient conditions and report appropriately. • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records. • Uphold core measure standards related to patient care and safety. • Participate in ongoing education to stay current with best practices. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current Illinois Registered Nurse license. • Certified in CPR/BLS and ACLS. • Proven experience in an Operating Room nursing role. • Strong knowledge of surgical protocols and patient safety practices. • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and conflict resolution. • Commitment to maintaining a healthy workplace environment. • Additional certifications related to critical care, cardiac services, and pediatrics are advantageous.
