Job Description
Provide expert nursing care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room department within a dynamic surgical setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on the 2nd Floor North unit, supporting a diverse patient population across multiple specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Neuro, Gynecology, ENT, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and Open Heart procedures.
Responsibilities include preparing and assisting in surgical operations using a variety of advanced OR equipment, collaborating closely with surgical teams, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout all phases of care. You will work a schedule of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with varying days off, and participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
• Valid Registered Nurse License.
• Minimum of 3 years of operating room nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred skills include robotics training and vascular or open heart experience.
• Ability to adapt quickly, anticipate surgical needs, and maintain a positive, proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.
Location Overview:

Schedule:
• 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• Surgical scrubs are provided; attire guidelines are maintained to ensure professionalism.
