A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (RN - OR) located in Mooresville, NC. This role demands a seasoned professional with a minimum of five years experience in operating room nursing, particularly within high-acuity surgical environments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in circulating and scrubbing for a broad range of surgical cases, including trauma, orthopedic trauma, total joint replacements, spine, cardiac, vascular, gynecological, robotics, general surgery, bariatrics, and plastics.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current NC RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of OR nursing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as Charge RN with scrubbing proficiency, particularly for night shift coverage.
• Comfort and skill in laparoscopic, open abdominal, cystoscopy, vascular, and robotic procedures is highly advantageous.
• Strong teamwork capabilities with flexibility and motivation to adapt to urgent case needs.
• Compliance with travel radius and availability requirements is essential.
