Job Description
A contract opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room is available in Claremont, NH. This role requires experienced OR nurses with strong scrub skills, as preference will be given to candidates who have worked as scrub nurses or holding an RN scrub role. This position offers an exciting chance to work alongside skilled surgeons specializing in a wide range of surgical procedures, including endocrine, breast, oncologic, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal, and hepatobiliary surgeries.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Registered Nurse licensed for operating room duties
• Strong scrub experience highly preferred; scrub RNs will receive first consideration
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required for eligibility)
Responsibilities:
• Support a surgical team in the operating room environment, preparing and assisting in a broad spectrum of surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile field and follow surgical protocols and safety procedures
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals
Schedule:
• Shift accommodation requests will not be considered; adherence to scheduled block shifts is required
• No local travelers within 50 miles of the facility will be considered
Additional Information:
• Requested time off must be declared and verified upon application (up to 5 days maximum)
• Socialize your availability clearly, as RTO requests after placement will not be approved
