OR Registered Nurse | Coldwater, Michigan in Batavia, MI

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse skilled in Operating Room nursing with specialized experience in orthopedics, vascular procedures, and robotic-assisted surgeries. This contract position located in Coldwater, MI, offers a dynamic schedule with options to accommodate 3x12-hour or 4x10-hour shifts, providing flexibility and work-life balance.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Current Michigan Nursing License required
• BLS (AHA) certification mandatory
• Minimum 2-3 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Proven expertise in orthopedic surgical procedures
• Vascular surgery experience, specifically abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, endovascular procedures, and carotid endarterectomy
• Proficient in Davinci Xi Robotic surgery, including general surgery, gynecology, and urology cases
• Direct experience with gynecologic and urologic surgical procedures

Schedule:
• Option to work either:

3x12-hour shifts (9:00 AM 9:30 PM)

4x10-hour shifts (11:00 AM 9:30 PM)
• Call requirement includes 3 overnight shifts and 1 weekend 12-hour call shift per month with a 30-minute response window
• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend 12-hour call shift monthly
• No float requirement

Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams for orthopedic, vascular, robotic, gynecologic, and urologic procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and surgical best practices
• Support patient safety and positive surgical outcomes with expert clinical skills
