OR Registered Nurse | Ellinwood, Kansas in Ellinwood, KS

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise to provide exceptional perioperative care on a contract basis. This role is based near Ellinwood, KS, and involves working primarily day shifts with a schedule of four 10-hour days per week. Responsibilities include serving as an OR circulator for orthopedic, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery cases. Scrub experience is not required, and you may occasionally float to procedural areas such as pain management and interventional radiology. On-call duties are necessary on weekends and holidays, with approximately eight on-call shifts per month. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current Kansas RN license with active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications • Minimum of 1 year of OR circulator experience specific to orthopedics, OB/Gyn, and general surgery • Preferred 2+ years of OR experience with prior travel assignments a plus • EPIC electronic medical records experience highly regarded • Ability to work within a 60-mile radius limitation (local applicants are not accepted) • Nicotine-free compliance required Schedule/Hours: • Four 10-hour day shifts weekly, with variable start times • On-call shifts Friday evening through Monday morning (8 shifts per month including some weekends) • Holiday work required on a rotating basis Location:Situated near Ellinwood, KS, this position offers proximity to a community known for its welcoming atmosphere and access to natural beauty.
