Job Description
Location:
Based in Methuen, MA, this position places you within a vibrant community known for its blend of suburban comfort and convenient access to urban amenities. Methuen offers a welcoming atmosphere with parks, shops, and cultural activities to enjoy during your time off.
Schedule/Hours:
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Rotating call coverage every other week
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room throughout surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain the OR environment, ensuring equipment and instruments are ready for use
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and respond promptly to any changes during surgeries
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams to support efficient and safe operative processes
• Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
Desired Qualifications:
• Current RN license with perioperative nursing experience
• Proficient in operating room protocols and patient care standards
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Contract Details:
• Orientation opportunities on January 14 or January 28 to ensure smooth onboarding
• Contract position with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and staffing needs
