Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Provide skilled nursing care in the operating room setting, ensuring patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to prepare patients for surgery and assist during procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Uphold sterile techniques and facility guidelines throughout all phases of surgical care
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current RN licensure with experience in operating room nursing
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Must hold a valid Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) to staff temporary nursing roles as required by state regulations
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment
• Preference for candidates comfortable with standard shift structures; block scheduling or schedule accommodations for 10/12-hour shifts are not available

Schedule:
• Standard non-accommodation 10 or 12-hour shifts; block scheduling is not supported

• An 8-hour non-billable orientation period ensures a smooth transition into the role
• Holiday and overtime shifts come with increased pay multipliers
• Additional compensation available for precepting responsibilities
